For the upcoming September Study Group, we will review an article on the sandplay processes of a woman dealing with end of life issues. In this article, the author shared through her client’s trays and processes, the symbolic representations of her crisis, struggles, and the final acceptance of her mortality.
During the study group, we will first review the sandplay process and the symbolic representations and how the client could tap on her resources in difficult times. Dream images created by David Blum (reference from DVD: Appointment with Wise Old Dog: Dream Images in a time of crisis) and trays from clients would be used to understand the internal journey of our clients who are dealing with end of life crises and the question of their mortality.
