HKSTA has invited Ms. Maria Kendler from Switzerland to offer Sandplay Therapy Training workshop in November.

Contents of the workshop:
We will look at the search for identity during adolescence which includes the behavioral problems, inner work on parental complexes, the imbalance between conscious and unconscious, and the challenge of a new definition of the ego-complex, the question of (self-) destructiveness, aggression and depression and how psychotherapy and sandplay therapy can support the young person with all these challenging dynamics.
Maria Kendler is a clinical psychologist. Presently she is working in a private practice near Lausanne in the French part of Switzerland. She has been working in a Centre for Psychotherapy and Psychiatrie in Lausanne and in an International School in the Swiss Mountains as a school psychologist. For many years she practices Sandplay Therapy with children, adolescents and adults. She is the President of the Swiss Society for Sandplay Therapy (SGSST) and served at the Board of ISST. As a teaching member of SGSST and ISST she gives Sandplay Training in Switzerland and abroad.
