We are going to study the journal article”Hidden from View: Concealing and Revealing in Sandplay Therapy” by Debbie Mego in our October 2018 Study Group.
We will look at the meaning of what is hidden from view in the sand. It was suggested that concealment of objects, including objects that are hidden behind other objects in the sand tray may suggest an indication of a wounding theme. Furthermore, systematic attention to the various ways and sequences in which figures are hidden from view in the sand can lead to valuable infomation that can enhance the sandplay process. Additional case studies from the presenter will be used for illustration in the study group.
