“To-morrow—what? And what of yesterday?
Through soundless labyrinths of dream you pass,
Through many doors to the one door of all.
Soon as it’s opened we shall hear a music:
Or see a skeleton fall . . .” Extracted from The House Of Dust by Conrad Aiken
According to Greek mythology, the half bull half human monster, which devours young men and maidens, was trapped in a labyrinth. In this study group, we will look at the history of labyrinth found in archaeological sites, labyrinth in myths and how we use a labyrinth in modern times. We will also learn to draw our own labyrinth, meditate on it, and find out what it means to us personally.
You are invited to have several pieces of drawing paper and a pen or pencil to draw your own labyrinth.
